MY OLDSTER'S FOUR-BUTTONED-JACKET

Hello guys, 

I hope y'all had a wonderful thanksgiving experience, well, I did, and I know y'all did too, it's always a honor taking a day out to be grateful for family and friends.

Straight to why I am here, in case you were wondering what inspired this look, let me just clear the air; I am not a fashion police and not planning to be one, and I am not trying to be black panther lol,  if that's what you are thinking lool. 

I am just a guy that loves blazers, jackets, and anytime i discover a new one, just like any fashion stylist, I wanna try something new. 

Before I talk about the jacket, I don't know if you notice that beret is a "thing" now, I see it all over social media, everyone has one, well not literally, but the point is; it's a trending, so i decided to get me one and try it, I must say I love it!

I am really contemplating if I should tell y'all about the jacket. well all I would say is that, at one point or the other sons have explored or taken advantage of their father's closet, and it's been history onward. Well, this jacket was a blessing from my father's closet, I discovered it while doing his laundry one day and I told him I'm taking it, and there was no argument. I love it!, love the fact that it's a four-button-British-vent-with-notch-lapel-structured-jacket, it's different from the ones i have in my closet, so yes I am happy loool, but guess who wear this kind of jacket; NYPD! yes my dad was an officer!

A CLASSIC FALL

Hello guys, 

I hope all is well with you all, I'm gonna start by telling you that summer as you already know has officially ended, and now my favorite season has come upon us all. I love the fall season just for the fact that i get to play dress up nearly all the time, and the whole tradition of "layers", just like any other fashionistas, I love to layer up, from shirts to sweater to blazer to coat, it just gives me more leeway to be creative. 

Now to the 'turtlenecks', they are the new trend this season,everybody is wearing one, especially me, i never used to like them cause they seem weird and would never have spent my money on them, but seeing that they have been 'modernized' so to say, i decided to add one to my wardrobe.  and the coat, I'm loving it, well the story behind that is; it was one of those days i just decided to stop by Old Navy, just to look around, but lucky me found the coat and i decided not to drop it.

Hello Guys,

How are y'all doing today? I hope your summer has been great so far, it's gradually coming to an end so i hope you make the best of the remaining days. It's been a while I have been here, I am sorry but that's because I have been busy behind the scene, working on some projects. This is an avenue to express myself in style and what i tell you guys on here, but sometimes work comes first. But I promise myself that I would never give this up, and try to post more on here as much as i can.

It's been a hot summer but this look was shot a while ago, when the weather hadn't got crazy.

About this look, people that know me, they know I love shopping at Zara, because their items just fit perfectly considering my style, and it just happens so many times just like in this look, I realize that my whole outfit for the day are from Zara from top to bottom, "you need a more versatile Wardrobe" i know, I do have items from other brands but it's just very convenient for me to shop at Zara, and I trust their fittings for the most part. when it comes to pants and jeans, Zara just happened to fit very comfortably well for me, and most of my pants come from there. if you could recommend any other brand that make awesome jeans please do share with me, I'd appreciate it.

Style, as you know, is very important, because it tells a lot about you, there are pieces that are consistent in your wardrobe, or particular style, that's consistent to you. Sometimes it's necessary to keep things basic, Simplicity speaks louder than words.

Joggers are the new trend, well they have been trending a while now, and I just believe joggers are inspired by the Asian style, if you grew up watching Chinese movies, or say the martial arts movies, if you noticed the outfits of students in the martial art school scenes, you'd see how the pants look like. I really think that's where the  "joggers" style comes from. Now the joggers style are made with different materials, from sweats, to chinos, to jeans, the style is here to stay for a long time. I love Joggers cos I feel very comfortable in them, especially the one I'm wearing here looks very casual and dressy, the style is casual, the material makes it dressy. I am also a sucker for double monk strap, and suede, hence my love for this shoes, i even got another pair in green, when you love something, get more than one, right? lol.

KING STYLE FT. THREADED CULTURE

Hello guys,

It is weekend y'all, turn up!! Well it's the holiday season, and there is a lot of festivities going on at this time of the year, and Jut like that, the year 2015 is wrapping up, well don't worry, a lot of things can still happen for you, something great!

So straight to business, like i mentioned above, it is the season of festivities, and my surprise gift from Atlanta based designer, THREADED CULTURE just came right in time! I am so excited about the two pieces they sent to me, and I shall be reviewing them. This particular piece I love so much, because i can either go casual with it or dress a bit classic with it, you know what I mean, and that's why i am going casual with my blue denim and camel color loafers, and the hat too.

I love this top because of the color, a lot of men thinks its unmanly to wear clothes with flower prints, but honestly, it means elegance and classiness, just like on this piece, the color, white, speaks classiness and the gold zip on the shoulder and the flowery print on the arms speaks royalty. And i kind of added my own accessories, the pocket square and a chest pin i got from thrift store. 

Well this kind of outfit could be worn either with dressy pants (slacks) or denims as worn here to ceremonial occasions, like dinner night with the family or work christmas party, or an award night, Banquet, or church. 

Tell me where you would where this to, I want  your opinion, how would you style this, what would you where it whit, what would you do differently?

SWEATER DAY

Hello guys, 

How is your week going? Isn't it strange, but kind of cool that, that hasn't really been cold like the New York winter weather we all know, and it's December!!.. Which is why this Camel-color  sweater from H&M is just right for the weather, and if it's a bit colder, you can layer on a peacoat, it looks classic and just right for the office, who says you can't look semi-casual for the office, thus why I have on a pair of high-top sneakers from Zara. 

P.S. I'm really not a sneaker-head lol..

The essence of style is to be able to switch things up a bit once in a while, now all the time you have to dress up in suits and tie for the office, show the laid back side of you, and be a leader with a sense of style.
